Admire the mixture of the different cultures that live in this city, the famous colorful tiles on the houses, the imposing churches and especially the picturesque views. Fall in love with this city the way I fell in love with it! Enjoy something traditional and get valuable tips for your stay.
The tour begins with a magnificent view of the S. Jorge Castle and the city center and tells us the story of the first tribes that used to live here. We'll start walking through the streets of the Bairro Alto district, visit the São Roque Church and enjoy the view from the Santa Justa lift and the Carmo Church. From the dazzling Chiado district, we reach the downtown area, the Baixa Pombalina, and its beautiful squares (Rossio, Figueira, São Domingos). At Martim Moniz we will experience the mixture of world cultures that live here and then hike on to an elevator that brings us to a special viewpoint. After admiring the 25 de Abril bridge, the Christ Statue and the city center from a different perspective, we continue to the oldest part of the city, Alfama. With a sweeping view over the entire old quarter and the river, we will walk through its narrow traditional streets until we reach the cathedral, Sé de Lisboa. The tour ends at the large square near the Tejo river, the old central trading place called Praça do Comércio.
