Wir in Portugal erose from the love to Portugal and the joy of sharing that love with others.
We are here to help you make the best out of your visit to Portugal. Book walking tours, day tours and various activities with us. We also organize team building events and can help you organize other services and group activities.
Vision
Through our tours and group activities, we want to bring the beauty and history of this land closer to all, while strengthening awareness and commitment towards sustainability. Be it through our conversations on our tours or with specific programs with social responsibility.
Why Wir
“Wir” is the German word, also existing in Old English, that stands for “us” or “we”.
The name reflects not only the people involved in our tours or events, from guide to clients, but also the desire to create that feeling of group unity amongst all. Be it on individual or group tours, with the guide, it will always be an “us”, and together we will explore this beautiful country. Furthermore, especially in the corporate area, the togetherness and team spirit have a fundamental role and that is why this name fits perfectly. Wir in Portugal (We in Portugal) also echoes the Portuguese lifestyle, history and culture, which is what we want to bring closer to our guests.
Born and raised in Portugal by my German parents, I grew up in a multicultural environment learning Portuguese, German and English at an early age. Equipped with a master in Events Management, 10-years’ experience in the tourism industry, an extensive knowledge as a local and the harmony of the German organizational skills combined with the Portuguese serenity, creates a perfect combination for a customer-oriented tours and events company.
After many years working for others, learning and growing professionally and personally, I decided to launch my own business as tour guide and event planner for groups visiting Portugal.
At the moment this is a “one person business”, meaning that when I’m on a tour, event or holiday, I will probably not be able to answer calls, however the emails will be checked and answered always as soon as possible.
