From the Cruise Ship into the city

Cruise Ship Terminal in Lisbon

Guided Tour in English or German

Pastel de Nata Cake

3 to 4 hours

You are arriving in Lisbon on a cruise ship? You just have some hours in the city and want to get to see as much as possible? No problem, I'll pick you up from the cruise ship terminal (Jardim do Tabaco or Santa Apolónia) and guide you through the main districts of the city center and to several great viewpoints. We begin our journey through places where once Carthaginians, Phoenicians, Romans and Moors once wandered, then we travel forward in time to the Lisbon of the 18th and 19th centuries and cross the beautiful squares and streets of the city (Comércio, Augusta, Rossio, Figueira, Carmo). From the top of the Santa Justa lift, we'll have a good view of downtown Lisbon and the ruin of the Carmo Church, before heading to the glamorous Chiado district. Then we cross the downtown area to a modern elevator that brings us to an amazing viewpoint. After admiring the 25th of April bridge, the Christ Statue and the city center from a different perspective, we continue to the oldest part of the city, Alfama. With a sweeping view over the entire old quarter and the river, we walk through its narrow traditional streets until we reach the cathedral, Sé de Lisboa. The tour ends at Casa dos Bicos, from where you can easily return to the ship, or, with other recommendations that I'll be happy to share with you, continue to explore Lisbon.
